Matador RSS Optimized Motors
Denali Energy Services recognizes that Rotary Steerable System (RSS) drilling increases operating costs and lost-in-hole risk, while requiring steady, controlled fluid flow for optimal ROP. Traditional mud-lubricated motors may bypass 5% at the start of a run and 15% or more by the end, reducing effective flow and weakening RSS performance—especially in flow-sensitive applications.
Matador resolves this by optimizing bypass throughout the run, maintaining consistent pad force and predictable directional control for higher ROP and improved wellbore quality. With a straight housing and pin-down mandrel, Matador is a plug-and-play RSS solution built for efficient, controlled drilling with the precision and endurance operators expect.
